BARI – We count about 171 Immigrants who are standing together at night at the crowded harbour of Bari. The group(all men and boys) consist of 5 Somalis and the rest Egyptians. Seven of them had to engage medical supply, mostly for strong hypothermia: All seven have been displaced to the closest hospital in Bari. The immigration officers and the coast guard at the harbour are still trying to identify the smugglers. Yesterday late in the evening near the coasts of Bari has been noticed a signal from a 30 meter long, with the national flag of Malta marked ship and has been escorted by the Coast Guard to the pier.
The last arrival of immigrants at the coasts of Bari dates back to the 24th of october. At that time 151 migrants, coming from Egypt got blocked on the sea by rubber boats of the Coast Guard after a persecution. 114 have been sent back in their countries the next day, 68 minors, which have been on board, have been sent in different detention centers in Campania and Sicilie. The 10 on board identified people smugglers have been sentenced for 8 years arrest, justified by favouritism of illegal immigration, fortified by the quantity of smuggled persons and the presence of minors and by civil disorder.
